A writer: Arthur Conan Doyle


 




Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was born on the twenty-second of May 1859 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was British. He lived in Hindhead. He had six brothers and sisters. Their names were Annette, Constance, Caroline, Innes, Ida and Julia. He had short straight brown hair, brown eyes. His family was rich. Charles Altamont Doyle was his father's name. and he was English. He was a writer. Mary Foley was his mother's name and she was an irish. She didn't work.
In 1885, Arthur Conan Doyle married Louise Hawkins, and they had two children, she died after.
In 1907, he remarried Jeanne Leckies, and they had three children. He was a doctor then he decided to become a writer. He became famous because he wrote Sherlock Holmes. S.Holmes was the most famous detective in the world by Conan Doyle. His friend was doctor Watson.
S.Holmes is linked to Conan Doyle. He died on the seventh of July 1930, at age of 71.
He died in Crownborough in the United Kingdom.
He died because he had a heart attack.
Arthur wrote 325 books.
He wrote 4 novels and 56 short stories.
He wrote novels, poems, shorts stories, volumes, Theatre plays,..

S.Holme meant a lot to Conan Doyle.
I have never read one of his books but I would love to read his books.
He also wrote « The Hound of the Baskervilles », « The Mystery of Cloomber», « Narrative of John Smith», «The Lost World», « The Sign of Four », «The Valley of Fear »,...
