This
series takes place in the city of Grandview in the USA. This is the
story of a pretty and young woman, Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love
Hewitt) who is married with Jim Clancy (David Conrad), an
ambulance-man. She becomes the owner of an antiques’ shop downtown.
She works with her close friend Delia Banks (Camryn Manheim). The
couple moves in an old and big villa at the edge of the town. But the
daily life of Melinda is not calm. The woman has got a gift since her
childhood which is to see and hear spirits, she communicates with
them, with the next world. She has inherited this gift from her
maternal grandmother. Melinda helps the roving spirits to pass to the
other side of the light, the young woman has a difficult role, she is
the speaker, the messenger between the ghosts and their family. She
solves all the problems like feelings not avowed or things not
revealed, etc… with the help of her husband and her friend. When
it’s resolved, the ghosts see the light and leave for the next
world. In her conquest she must confront the evil spirits who want to
harm her and put in danger her life.
In
Ghost Whisperer there are ghosts, this is fantastic, not real but
it’s the true life of a woman and this is real; it’s a fiction.
It is good for all the people because this series is entertaining and
interesting. It’s believable for the persons who believe in ghosts.
When you have seen the first you want to see the rest and mainly the
end because you have the result of Melinda's work. There is a lot of
suspense, mystery and sometimes fear. I like very much this series
because I like fantastic films and the context of the story, the
spirits who are between two worlds and a person who helps them.
