Lily Allen

Her real name is Lily Rose Beatrice Cooper and she was born the 2 May 1985. She is a British singer, an actress and a musician. Her style of music is pop .

Lily Allen is the daughter of Keith Allen, an actor and musician, and she left school at the age of 15 to improve her compositional skills.

She wrote her first album, « Alright, Still » in 2006 and it sold over 2.6 million copies worldwide; the album brought Lily Allen a nomination at the Grammy Awards, BRIT Awards and MTV Video Music Awards. The single "Smile" reached the top position in UK Singles Chart in July 2006.

« It's not me, it's you », her second album, was released in 2009. The style is more electropop than the first album and the album debuted at number one in England. The singles « The Fear » and « Fuck you » was very popular in Europe.

She married Sam Cooper in 2011 and she has 2 daughters: Ethel Mary (born on November 25th 2011) and Marnie Rose (born on January 8th 2013).

In November 2013, Lily Allen recorded a cover of « Somewhere Only We Know » and it reached number one in United Kingdom.

On 12 November 2013, she published the clip of her new song « Hard Out Here », like « Air Balloon », published on 2 March 2014. Her third album will be called « Sheezus » in homage to Kanye West, because his album is called « Yeezus ». It will be released on 5 May 2014.

I like Lily Allen because she has beautiful voice and I enjoy her style of music.

I like her song « Somewhere only we know », it's a cover version of Keane, an English rock band. The song was the soundtrack to the John Lewis advertisement for Christmas 2013 and a part of money for the single will be donated to Save the Children's Philippine Typhoon Appeal campaign.
