Biography :

Her complete name is «Ashley Victoria Benson», and her nickname is Benzo and Ash. She was born on December 18, 1989 in Anaheim in Orange County (California). So she is American. She has English and German origins on her father's side, Jeff Benson. She has also Irish origins on her mother's side, Shanon Harte. And her sister, Shaylene Benson, is a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Lakers. She is an actress, a model.

Career :

At the age of 8 years, she started in modeling, posing for catalogs, she was part of the modeling agency Ford. In 1999, at the age of 10, Ashley launched her acting career as she was model for advertising. In 2004, Ashley signed a three-year contract with the producers of the soap opera «  Days of our Lives  ». She played the role of Abigail "Abby" Deveraux, the eldest child of the couple Jack Deveraux and Jennifer Horton. In 2007, she got the main role in the TV movie « American Girls 4: war blondes » with Cassie Scerbo Michael Copon and Jennifer Tisdale.

In December 2009, Ashley took the role of Hanna Marin in the new drama, mystery, thriller, Pretty Little Liars, « The lying women » adapted from the novel by Sara Shepard. On the set, Ashley met her best friend, Shay Mitchell. I find this a truly amazing and full of suspense series.

In December 2010, she played as a main character in the TV movie, The Angel Of The Snows with Christina Milian and Chad Michael Murray. In January 2012, Ashley took a leading role in the thriller, Spring Breakers, with Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine and James Franco. In January 2013, Ashley became the face of the Faviana brand.
