FILM REVIEW: HUNGER GAMES

This is the story of a young girl who is living in district 12. Her name is Katniss.
Every Year, there is a « harvest » which designates a boy and a girl aged from 12 to 18.
The tournement was created to punish the districts which were revolted. All districts are poor and wreck.
Primrose (Katniss's sister) is selected but Katniss devotes herself to protect her sister.
Peeta is the boy who is chosen.
The hunger games consist in a tournement where there will be only one winner ( for this, they need to kill other participants).
Katniss and Peeta go to a futurist city where they have to make good impression for the games, and hope to win them.
They train in big buildings and then the games start.
The participants are join in an arena and from the fist day 6 persons are killed.
It is terrible for Katniss to see people die and get killed.
Katniss makes a bow, it is her speciality.
Peeta betrays Katniss to join the strongest group. Because of them, many people die.
Katniss manages to kill people, and there are only a few participants to survive.
Then, she finds Peeta who was hidden next to a river so as not be killed.
Finally, together, they succeed to shoot other participants thanks to her dexterity with her bow.
When they go back to their district, they are cheered and respected.

The End.

  • I love this film because it combines a lot of action, love and suspense. I think it's a good film thanks to its fantastic and futurist universe.
  • I recommend this movie to all action films fans.
Jennifer Lawrence is the actress who plays the main character : Katniss Everdeen.
Peeta Mellark is Josh Hutcherson.
For Jennifer this film was the ninth she plays.
She interprets Tyffany Maxwell in Happiness Therapy and she acts in many other movies.

The boy on the left is Peeta, next to him there is Katniss and on the right there is a good friend of Katniss.
