Léonardo DiCaprio was born in Hollywood, in Los Angeles.
He was born on 11 November 1974.
He has got a half-brother, her name is Adam Farrar.
He particulary pointed with his film "Gilbert Grape", interpreting the mentally handicapped brother of Johnny Depp, for which he was nominated for an Oscar Best supportinf Actor at the age of 19 years.
His first role in horror movie "Critters 3".
He had a lot of sucess in "Roméo and Juliet" released in 1996 with Claire Danes. Baz Luhrmann directed this film.
He had a very big success in the movie "Titanic" released in 1997 with Kate Winslet, more than 1.078.833 admissions in France. Celine Dion perfomed the song" My heart will go on" for this movie. James Cameron directed this film spectacular!.
Léonardo DiCaprio is also know for Ihis strong commitment to ecology: he wrote and produced the documentary "11 th hour","Tha last corner", which deals with global warming.

RECIPE : Cookies

-Cookie Recipe-

Ingredients ;

-220 G flour

- 100 g butter, softened

- 100 g white sugar

- 100 g of sugar

- 100 g cooking chocolate

- 1 egg

- 1/2 teaspoon baking food

• 1 pinch of salt

Preparation:

Chop the chocolate coarsely and mix the soft butter with both sugars and egg.

Add the flour, baking soda, salt and finally the chocolate.

Knead the dough by hand.

Make balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake fifteen minutes in the preheated oven at 180 ° C.

FILM REVIEW :Streetdance

The movie Streetdance is a comedy. The story takes place in London. A troop of streetdancers, the “Jay 2 O”, is qualified to go in final of the streetdance championship.

When he leans this news, Jey, the leader of the troop, decides to leave the troop to join their formidable opponents, the “Surge”. When she learns this news, Carly wants to drop everything but she decides finally to beat “Surge” to show Jay that she can do it.

She begins to look for a place to repeat the choregraphy. When she sells a sandwich at the ballet school , Helena, the teacher, suggest they come to repeat in a room free of charge and in exchange she should include ballet dancers in her choreography. Carly hesitates, but she has no choice, then she decides to try.

They manage  together and decide to change the name of their troop and replace the former name by “The Breakingpoint”.

At the end of 5 weeks training the final arrives. “Surges” arrive on stage and have lot of applause, they please the public. Then “Breakingpoint” arrives on stage and they win the heart of the public by mixing streetdance and ballet, which gives a magnificent choreography and they take away the final of the championship of Streetdance.

My opinion : I love this film because dance is my passion and I like the mix of streetdance and ballet !

THE GUITAR

Guitar is a plucked string instrument, usually played with fingers or a pick.

The first known traces of instruments similar to the guitar dates back to 3000 BC. AD.

There are six strings in a guitar. Guitars are recognized as a primary instrument in genres such as blues, country, flamenco, jazz, jota, métal, reggae, rock, soul, and many forms of pop.

Today there are different styles of guitars : electric, classic and folk.

The first electric guitar was born in 1928. It was invented by Stromberg and Voisinet.

Each guitar is for a different style.

Guitar was created according to the model of a woman. The body of the guitar is as a female body and the head of the guitar is as the head of a woman

The sound of the guitar comes from its body.

Today guitar is a favourite intrument for many young because it's easy to transport and it's not very expensive. There is something for all tastes and it is an instrument for accompanying. My favorite guitarist is Marcel Dadi. He was a friend of my guitar's teacher's father .He died in a plane crash in 1996. He played rock but he had a revelation when he heard a song where Bob Dylan played picking (“Girl from the North country ” interpreted by Hugues Aufray in a French version). Picking is a guitar technique. I like it but it's difficult.

French Gymnastics at the Olympics

The Olympics Games

(Feminine Selection For The French gymnastics.)

In the girls' team there were : Kuhm Anne, Serseri Sophia, Dufournet Youna, Boumejmajen Mira and Maloussena Aurelie.

Regrettably, a young brillant gymnaste. Doriane Thobie could not participate in Olmpics Games 2012 because she was injured.

• Kuhm Anne: She started at 6 years old. She is from Union Haguenau (Bas Rhin). Her training center is in Dijon. She has a very famous sportsmen who won the Olympic Games in London, HONG Wang. She has been a member of the French team since 2009. She works 26 hours a week. She is always smiling and lively.
• Boumejmajen Mira: She began gymnastics in 2004. Her home club is the Vierzonnaise. Her current club is Rouen. Her training center is in Marseille. She practical 30 hours a week. She has been a member of the French team since 2008. Her physical qualities are being flexible and strong . Her strong points were bars, yarn-beam . She is twice champion French..
• Dufournet Youna: She started gymnastics when she was 7 years old. Her club is Oats. She practical 25 hours a week. She has been a member of France team since 2006. Her quality is physical shoulders. Her strong points are asymmetric bars and yarn-beam. She admires a lot gymnast Emilie Le Pennec.
• Maloussena Aurelie: She started gymnastics at the age of 6. The club link is INSEP in French. She pratical 28 hours a weeks. She has been a member of French the team since 2006. Her strong are being strong. Her favourite parts is the ground and uneven bars.
• 
  Serseri Sophia: She began gymnastics at 4. Her current club is ADG 21.Her training center is INSEP. She practice 28 hours a weenk. She has been a member of the French team since 2008.The first international competition was to French, Switzerland and in Italy in 2008. Her strong point is the ground. Her favourite parts is jump, ground bar and yarn-beam.

All these beautiful gymnastes went to the London Olympic Games. They must be very proud of it, as the people who support them.

Film Review: The Dark Knight Rises

Eight years have passed since Batman disappeared in the night, turning from his status of hero into a fugitive. Taking responsability for the death of Harley Dent, the Black Knight has sacrificed everything for commissioner Gordon.

But the arrival of a feline breaks the established order, and much more dangerous is the appearance of Bane a masked terrorist.

But Batman is not as strong as Bane.

This film was produced by Christopher Nolan and it came out the 25 JULY on the 2012 in France. The actors are Christian Bale ( Wayne/Batman), Gary Oldman (James Gordon), Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), Anne Hataway (Selina Kyle), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (John Blake)...

The Dark Knight Rises is the third of this serie after Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

 It is a film with a lot of emotions : during 2 hours you cry, you laugh...

 Gordon-Levitt and Oldman play their role of cops perfectly, like Hataway and her role of Catwoman but we don't often see  Marion Cotillard. Bane makes very afraid... and Batman is the BEST !

-Positive point :

There is a lot of action, the actors are great, there is a full a of suspense and the special effects are very realistic.

-Negative point :

This is the end of serie !

Film review : Ma Première Fois

Ma Première Fois is a great film. I love this film because it's really moving and makes a lot of people cry at the end because it’s very sad.
The film begins well and ends badly. The leading characters are a girl and a boyfriend. Their names are Sarah and Zachary.

This is a French movie realised by Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar and Esther Comar.

Zachary is 20 years old, Sarah is 18 years old.

Ma Première Fois was released in January 2012.

Movie review:Project X

Project X is an American comedy released in 2012, it was directed by Nima Nourizadeh. The film was shot entirely in Los-Angeles, California, for over 5 weeks with a budget of $ 12 million. The film is presented as a personal video from the point of view of a participant with a camera to document the events of that night.

To have a crazier and more realistic presult, production the result of Project X is crazier and more realistic production distributed several extras pocket cameras so the production could film the festive moments of which they were witnesses.

synopsis:

School students, Costa and JB was planning a birthday party for their friend Thomas. They hope that this party will increase their popularity among their classmates. Thomas's parents leave for the weekend, leaving him alone in the house, warning him on some points, as not to invite more than 5 people and not use his father's Mercedes. Thomas is reluctant to have the party at home for fear that his parents discover it ! Thomas invites Kirby, one girl he loves .Costa, JB and Thomas steal the garden gnome, the mascot. Night falls, but nobody comes to the party and Thomas is worried. Suddenly, party-goers arrive in a large number and the party becomes a success and Thomas realizes that there are more people than he had expected. Costa admits he has put ads on several websites, local radio for fear that nobody comes.

In the United States, in the city of Houston (Texas), a group of friends wanted to imitate the film holding the same kind of evening. And as in the feature film by Nima Nourizadeh, it was very poorly done. Not far from one thousand people gathered in a huge mansion for this event that lasted a week. As in Project X, students were released too quickly and the atmosphere slipped.

It's a very good film, it's very funny.

Film Review: Tout ce qui brille !

« Tout ce qui brille » is a French movie released in 2009 by Géraldine Nakache and Hervé Mimran. The actors are Géraldine Nakache who plays the role of Ely and Leïla Bekhti who plays the role of Lila. Ely has got a sister and lives with her parents and her sister unlike Lila who hasen't got brother and sister and lives alone with her mother. She work in a fast food restaurant.

They are very nice actresses and very funny.

Ely is very friendly, she keeps the child of friends when they are in a party, whereas Lila is emotional and very romantic. She works in a cinema, she sells pop-corn in the hall.

Ely and Lila like having fun.

This film was shot in Puteaux, Paris and at the Defence.

This is a comedy, it's very cool, it relaxes.

The film lasts 100 minutes.

It's a good film to see between friends or with your family.

Synopsis :

Ely and Lila are long-time friends and live in a popular suburb ten minutes from Paris, Puteaux. Tired of living “ ten minutes of everything”, they try to blend in the Parisian parties

and enter in a world that is not their.

My opinion :

I enjoy this film because it is a very symbiotic friendship, it makes me think of my friendship with my best friend and the song is very nice.

I went to the cinema to see this film and then I bought it in DVD because is a very good film.

My favourite moment it's at the end when Lila and Ely become reconciled and when they eat at the restaurant with theirs friends.

He was born in Paris in 1973 but now he lives in Aix-en-Provence. When he began taekwodo, he   wanted to be fluid in his movements but later he became passionate about this sport. He began taekwodo in  the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

Pascal Gentil is a French taekwondoist. A three-time winner of the European Championships, four-time World Cup Champion and Olympic bronze medalist at the 20000 summer Olympics in Sidney and at the2004 Olympics in Athens. Pascal Gentil is the most decorated taekwondo practitioner in French taekwondo history.
