A European Country: Finland


 FINLAND




Finland is a parliamentary republic with a central government based in Helsinki the administrative and economic capital.

The flag of Finland represents a blue cross on a white background.
Finland is between Russia and Sweden, next to the Baltic Sea.
There are 5.4 million of habitants for a area of 338,424 km2.[]
The currency used is the Euro.
Finland has got some important fjord like in Norway.
The official languages are Finnish and Swedish.
Finland has a humid and cool semi continental climate, characterized by warm summers and freezing winters.

A fjord: a long narrow inlet of the sea between high cliffs.
In Finland, there are a lot of activities:
         - Hunting                 - Skiing
         - Biking                    - Fishing
         - Going in Park         - Strolling in a sled with dog
      Special in Finland: 
- Kalakukko: It’s a famous bread with fish.  
Polatouche: It is a famous animal: it’s a squirrel but it can fly.
-Northern Lights : It’s a natural light display in the sky
 particularly in the high latitude regions, 
caused by the collision of energetic charged particles
with atoms in the high  altitude atmosphere.
