COOKING

Apple Pie Recipe

Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

- 100g white sugar
- 60 ml water
- 8 apples-peeled, cored and sliced
- 110 g brown sugar
- 115 g butter
- 25 g flour
- 1 ready-made pastry (or 2 if you want to cover your pie)
- cinnamon

Directions:

1) Preheat the oven  (220°C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the flour to form the dough.
2) Mix water, white sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon and bring to a boil.

3) Put the pastry in the pie dish. Fill with apples. Cover with the second pastry.

4) Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust.

5) Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 175°C. Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until the apples are soft.
