You can call your friends, send a message or find your road , read your mails or the newspaper and listen to music  . Google is searching for new applications to improve your daily life. In a few years google glass will help you to cook, to recognise monument and thelp the medecine. This pair of glasses cost 1500 $ for the moment but when they will be marketed they will cost 300 $. Some celebs have already bought them and they really like it. There are already laws to forbid glasses in casinos or in your car. So, will you buy glasses for Christmas ?

HARDWELL

Hardwell is a Dutch DJ and producer, his true name is Robbert Van 

de Corput. He was born on January the seventh 1988 in Breda.

He began his career in 2006, at the age of 18 years old with some tracks and remixes but it's in 2010-2011 that he became famous with his two tracks «Encoded» and «Zero 76» and for he first time entered the dj's top 100 at the 24^th position.

In March 2011, he launched his radio show and podcast called «Hardwell on air» which is broadcasted on more than 25 international radio stations.

2012 has seen as much success as the previous years because of his three tracks called «How we do»,«Apollo» and «Spaceman» and went up to the 6^th place in the dj's top 100 ; he takes part in the best electronic music festivals like Tomorrowland or Ultra Music Festival since 2012.

Her complete name is «Ariana Grande-Butera». She was born on June 26, 1993 in Boca Raton (in Floride.). So she is American. Her father is Italian, and her mother is from Abruzzes. And her brother, Frankie Grande, is an actor and a director. She is an actress, a model and a singer on Broadway. Her musical genre are pop, dance pop and teen pop. She is a complete artist.

Their names were Annette, Constance, Caroline, Innes, Ida and Julia. He had short straight brown hair, brown eyes. His family was rich. Charles Altamont Doyle was his father's name. and he was English. He was a writer. Mary Foley was his mother's name and she was an irish. She didn't work.

In 1885, Arthur Conan Doyle married Louise Hawkins, and they had two children, she died after.

In 1907, he remarried Jeanne Leckies, and they had three children. He was a doctor then he decided to become a writer. He became famous because he wrote Sherlock Holmes. S.Holmes was the most famous detective in the world by Conan Doyle. His friend was doctor Watson.

S.Holmes is linked to Conan Doyle. He died on the seventh of July 1930, at age of 71.

A NEW SPORT : KIN-BALL

The kin-ball is a new sport created in Quebec by Mario Demers in 1986 . This sport is played with a ball of 1.5 meters of diameter. The matches are played between three teams composed of 4 players.

How the game works:

The matches have three periods lasting between 7 to 15 minutes according to the age of participants. The team with most points a the end of the three periods wins the game. Each players of a team has a jersey of different colour : grey, pink or black (exept in Quebec, where blue remplaced pink in 2004). When the game starts, the players of a team (grey, for example) throw the ball and they say "Omnikin" followed by a colour (blue or pink) . The named team (blue) must catch the ball before it touches the floor. The blue team must have three players holding the ball at the bottom, each player with one leg bent and with two hands on the ball. Then , the blue team throws the ball and they say "Omnikin" with a colour (grey or pink), etc, until a fault. When there is a fault, the two others teams have a point. A famous novelist: Agatha Christie

Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller (or Agatha Cristie ) was born on September the 15^th 1890 in Torquay, Devon and she died on January the 12^th 1976 at age 85 from natural causes.

She was a famous English crime writer of novels and short stories. She is best remembered for the 66 detective novels and 14 short stories collections she wrote under her own name. Agatha Christie was also famous for her characters: Hercule Poirot, Miss Jane Marple and Tommy and Tuppence. Agatha is nicknamed « the queen of crime »

Agatha met Archibald Christie (her first husband) at a dance given by Lord and Lady Clifford of Chudleigh but in 1926, Archibald asked for a divorce; he was in love with Nancy Neele.

In 1930, Christie married an archaeologist : Max Mallowan. She frequently used settings which were familiar to her for her stories. And, in 1934 Agatha wrote her famous novel: Murder on the Orient Express, in Istanbul.

In the first World War, she worked in a hospital.

Her characters (Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple) are very famous but they are very different; Hercule Poirot is Belgian and full of himself (pretentious), he is a private detective but Miss Marple is an old woman, she reminds us of Agatha Cristie, but they have an exceptional sense of observation. I really love reading her novels because in her novels there are a lot of suspense, twists (surprise) in the plot.

A writer : JR.R Tolkien

HIS LIFE :

John Ronald Rueul Tolkien (1892-1973) was a brilliant writer.

He was born in Bloemfontein in South Africa on the third of January in 1892. His parents were English.

When he was 3, he came back in England, a few years before the death of his parents. Older, he was an excellent student in Oxford, a very famous university. After Oxford, he was enrolled in the army and he was an officer during the First World War. Very sick in the trenches, he came back again in England. He became a literature profesor in Oxford and he was inspired by this and especially his knowledge on ancient legends, celtic, saxons. For example, in an Anglo-Saxon poem, Beowulf and Sigurd are heroes who fight dragons who die like Smaug in "The Hobbit".

He started to write his first novel, "The Silmarillion" using languages created by himself. In 1937, he became famous thanks to "The Hobbit" and later, the best trilogy ever : "The Lord of the Rings" in 1954-55. After his death, thanks to his son Christopher ,we can now enjoy all his novels.

His work was so popular so films about that were created ; The trilogy "The Lord of the Ring" and now "Bilbo the Hobbit".

We all know one of the most popular of his characters ; Frodo Baggins (Frodon Sacquet in French). For people who don't know Frodo, he is a Hobbit, Bilbo's nephew. Frodo's parents died and Bilbo accepted protecting him. In "The Lord of the Rings", Gandalf, a wizard, wanted Frodo and Sam to destroy the ring, created by Sauro, in the Mordor.

Sauro is a fallen elf who betrayed them many times. When he created the ring, he put much of his powers in it. Unfortunately, he lost it and he took the form of a fantom because of his loss of strenght. He took refuge in the east of the Middle Earth.

For me, Tolkien isn't a common writer, he hasn't just created famous books, he has invented a universe wherein he imaginated characters, languages, maps and creatures and all his books have a link between them. It is always the same spirit.

I've read a lot of trilogies, and for example, the map of "Eragon" (by Christopher Paolini) was very much inspired by Tolkien's maps.

A series: Soda

Soda is a French televison series.The series is broadcasted on M6 and W9. It's a comic series. But these are a very short scenes, they last 5 minuts.

The series lasts around 20 minutes. She is composed of Kev'Adams who plays the role of Adam, Slim (Adam's best friend), Ludo (Adam's best friend), Eve or « Chucky» ( Adam's sister),Babette and Michel (his parents), Jenna (a schoolgirl) and Stephanie,whose nickname is «the cockroach». 

 

Adam is a teenager, never without his two good friends, he tries all the time to find how to seduce girls. Particulary Jenna, whom he's crazy about. This teenager is lazy, he is 18 years old. He should love his life but his little sister never stops bothering him.

The series is very much watched in France. There are three seasons.

Season 1 : He lives a dream life (despite his bad marks).

In this season there isn't Eve.

Season 2 : It is the year of baccalaureat.

In the season, there are Eve and Giselle(Babette's mother).

He discovers that his sister loves Ludo and Stephanie loves Slim.

Season 3 : Jenna has gone to Africa for the work.

Adam meets Juliette, she becomes his girlfriend, and he finds a job at the kebab.

The series was seen for the first time on TV on July 4,2011. It's produced by CALT. This series can be watched by everyone. But the teenagers love more this series.

I like this series because it's funny, I enjoy Kev'Adams and it's funny' he doesn't know to seduce the girls.
